Personal Philosophy
Dance is a universal language. It opens up communication lines between people who do not normally interact. Dance allows these people not only to communicate effectively but to communicate openly and honestly. Dance can open windows into the soul for the performer, observer, teacher, and student. Because everybody has a body, everyone can dance. Dance is not a respecter of persons--if you have a body you can dance. You don't have to be a professional dancer to dance well. All people can dance well because dance is expressive. You can dance because you have something to express and no one is better at expressing what you need or want to express than you. That is why all people can, and should, dance.
